The Aster project was a mission to flip a house purchased in an auction. The home interior was demolished down to the studs and refinished with a blank slate. Without a specific buyer in mind, it was important to design a look that would appeal to the masses. I stuck to neutral tones and prioritized contrasting dark flooring with light walls. The company flipping this house also hired a staging professional to help potential buyers picture themselves calling Aster home. A few of my favorite features of the Aster project include the original cove moulding in the dining/living room, a custom-made sliding barn door, and the textured bathroom tile made to look like wood.
